TEDx Black Mountain Live. More Than an Event, An Experience

We’ve always believed that TEDx Black Mountain should be more than just a stage, a spotlight, and a speaker. It should be an experience – something that lingers in the mind long after the lights go down and the conversations spill out into the Belfast night.

That’s why we’re so excited to introduce TEDx Black Mountain Live this November.

For one evening only, we’ll bring the magic of the global TED community straight to West Belfast. Through a live stream of TEDNext 2025 direct from Atlanta, we’ll watch world-class talks as they premiere, together, in real time. No waiting, no filters, just the raw energy of new ideas being shared across the world.

But we didn’t want to stop there.

Between the streamed talks, we’ll host three powerful panels with local voices who will help us connect the global to the local, the visionary to the everyday reality of life and work here.

• Ideas Into Action – reflections on the TEDNext talks and how we can turn those ideas into practical steps in our own personal and professional lives.

Each panel will be a chance to reflect, challenge, and engage because TEDx isn’t about passively consuming talks. It’s about sparking conversation and inspiring action.

We’ll also be building space for what really matters, connection. A networking break with food, conversation, and local voices will create the perfect atmosphere for ideas to grow into collaborations.
